This adult hand-building class focuses on making functional ceramic forms using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. This class will also offer demonstrations on surface design techniques including, the use of underglazes, sgraffito, Mishima, and imprinting. Suitable for all levels, as both group and individual instruction will be offered. Beginners welcome and encouraged!

Designed for high school students looking to build an art portfolio, pick up a rewarding hobby, or refine their physical crafting skills, this studio bridges technical mastery with creative expression.
Led by a local working ceramic artist with over 20 years of professional studio experience, students receive direct, master-level guidance in structural design, clay body behavior, and studio safety.

Explore the art of printmaking through the hands-on techniques of gel plate printing and relief printing with linocut blocks. Participants will experiment with one-of-a-kind monotypes and layered gel plate prints, then learn the fundamentals of linocut, including designing, carving, inking, and printing a series, or edition. Young artists will explore texture, pattern, shape, and personal expression while discovering how a single design can be transformed into multiple unique prints. Through experimentation and creative exploration, each artist will develop a collection of original prints while gaining an appreciation for the unique possibilities of printmaking.
Note: Participants should have age-appropriate fine motor skills and dexterity to safely and independently use the carving tools required for linocut printmaking.

Ready to get your hands dirty and make something awesome with clay? In this hands-on ceramics studio, middle schoolers will learn the core fundamentals of pottery and transform raw clay into finished, functional art pieces. No wheels, no stress—just pure hand-building techniques, cool projects, and step-by-step guidance.
Throughout the course, students will build confidence through structured projects designed to teach essential clay skills. While everyone learns the same core construction methods, students will have plenty of room to add their own style, textures, and creative details to every piece they make.

Unleash your creativity in this fun, hands-on pottery class designed specifically for 3rd through 5th graders! Students will get their hands dirty exploring the basics of clay through pinching and slab-building. After mastering the core fundamentals, students will put their new skills to work on an exciting final project: crafting their very own ceramic nightlight! Kids will build, shape, and punch out custom designs, stars, or patterns so light can shine through, creating a one-of-a-kind functional light fixture to use right in their own room.

Come and make decorative trays with us! We will be using underglaze to paint designs on your creations and provide foliage for making impressions in the clay. Make a jewelry tray as a gift or a cheese platter for hosting!
